First week of Preschool

Some may wonder, what do you learn in the first week of preschool?? I wonder that too, because my child comes home and leaves out many details! Luckily her teacher sends home a newsletter every Friday. So, this is what Trinity did the first week of Preschool:

• She learned about numbers on a calendar and what they mean.
• She learned about the letters in her name and the first letter is called a 'capital letter'
• She learned she was different from her friends and looked at her finger prints under a magnify glass. Then she made a picture with her finger prints.
• She toured her school and met the people that work there
• She drew pictures
• She rested (no nap)

Also, we need to work on how to drink water from a drinking fountain without it getting all over the front of her shirt!!

Today, she went to preschool and didn't even look back or give daddy a hug. She could not wait for show and tell!!
