This fall we signed Trinity up for soccer through the Sno-King Youth Club. She is playing U5, which is for birthdays between August 2004-July 2005, so she is at the bottom. She has been kicking the ball a lot in the yard, so we figured we would try it out. She was so excited, and does great during the first 30 minutes, which is a clinic. She is dribbling great and keeping the ball close to her. She even dribbled around cones! But, that is where it ends! She played in the first game, had a great time, until the other team came after her and she had a melt down. The second Saturday, she did not play in the game at all. I really hope this changes and she will start to get in the game and have fun. If not, oh well, maybe we can try again in a few years!
