We were so lucky to have our first company over the Fourth of July weekend. My brother, his wife and their awesome daughter were here from Olympia! It is sure hard to show company around when you haven't been many places yourself!
On the Fourth of July we decided to check out some wineries. Livermore Valley has an up and coming wine area. The one I wanted to visit was closed on the Fourth of July. We did find two small ones open and tasted and bought a little wine!
The next day we hit up the Alameda County Fair. I had been hearing about this fair since we moved. It is an awesome fair and there is a horse race track in the middle! We watched a couple of races, then it was time to leave. We had a couple of hot and tired little girls on our hands!
