The Zoo

We took Trinity to the Woodland Park Zoo. I loved the zoo as a child and was always very sad Spokane did not have a zoo we could take Trinity too. After her nap we loaded the car and headed down. We only spent an hour and did not even come close to seeing everything. The highlights were, the giraffes (hence the picture), the elephants, the brown bear, gorilla, and penguins. We saw them feed an elephant. The penguins were the best. They were all walking around on the rocks in the middle of their pool. We kept telling Trinity they were going to jump in. Then I said "jump", and of course our copy-cat toddler yelled "jump", then kids around her starting yelling "jump". They started spraying water into the pool and eventually the first penguin jumped and Trinity yelled "Yeah!!". It was so cute!
