Yes, Jason and I got a date night last night! It was a double date with Dave and Deb, but nonetheless, a DATE NIGHT!!
Trinity got to spend the evening with Grandma Cooper!
We started the evening by eating at Sky City on top of the Space Needle. It was absolutely amazing. The restaurant turns one complete cycle every 47 minutes, so we went around twice while there. Our reservation was at 5pm, so the sky was still pink and orange from the sunset and Mt. Rainier was so clear! It was a perfect evening for eating there!
After dinner we headed over to McCaw Hall for the Anita Baker concert. Unfourtunately, she is an amazing performer with a great voice and a horrible sound team! Or McCaw Hall has a horrible sound team. Her bad was way to loud, you could barely hear her and her mic was loud too, it was deafening. Also, way to much feedback, you would think after once or twice the sound team would get it together, but they did not and it continued through the show. But she was fun and had the cutest giggle!
All together it was a great night and we had fun!
