This blog is a story about the family of Jason, Marsha, and Trinity Moore. It is mainly about Trinity, our daughter. We hope our family and friends will be able to follow along as our family changes and I hope to have this for Trinity to some day read.

The Drive to Spokane
We left on Saturday (12/20) morning. We watched the weather report all week, keeping our weekend flexible. We originally planned to leave Sunday, but the weather report seemed to show Saturday morning as the best window to make it over the pass. We left Saturday morning after breakfast. Good thing we did, blizzard like conditions hit the pass Saturday night and Sunday. We had it pretty good. Snow and ice in places, but crystal clear skies! It was beautiful! The big problem though, frozen windshield wiper fluid. Even though it was the kind with de-icer in it, it still was frozen. Jason had to stop at the summit to clean the windshield (this was a much larger problem on the way home). About Ritzville we hit freezing fog and icy roads. Then things just got icier and snowy as we got close to Spokane. I have a couple of pictures off of my phone of the snow as we approached Spokane. It took us about 5 hours to get there. Normally we make it to Spokane in roughly 4 hours (depending on the potty stops!!).
