Since we were going to be gone for the entire week we decided not to get a Christmas tree at home this year. Dave and Deb waited until we arrived before getting their tree. Well, sorta!! The original plan was to all go find a tree together. But it got cold and snowy in Spokane, so Dave got a tree ahead of time. Trinity still thought we were going to find a tree in the "woods". There happen to be a lot of woods by Grandpa's house! This beautiful tree was waiting there for us! Trinity would have gone hiking through the woods to find a tree if we had let her, but she would quickly be waist deep in snow! We had to guide her towards this tree. She commented later, "the tree wasn't really in the woods". It was cute! 
We got the tree inside and Trinity helped water it. She found the tree skirt to fit her well!
The next day we decorated the tree. Trinity had received three new ornaments so far this year, so we took those with us, so she would have her own ornaments to hang on the tree. She had a great time helping put the garland on the tree! We let her do her thing, then rearranged it later! After getting the garland on Trinity helped Deb put some other ornaments on. She was quite the helper, but had to be reminded often to wait until Deb asked her to do something!!
