Well, now that I just spent almost two hours updating our blog!! I should update you on our lives. August 1 we moved. Back in April we put our house on the market and are currently waiting on the bank to approve an offer on our home. We found a great home in Lynnwood to rent. It is large and has a very big backyard. We are very happy and loving it here! Jason has a couple of tests for police departments coming up this fall.
As for me, well, things have been hard. In July we found out my father was battling Multiple Myeloma. It is a treatable cancer of his bone marrow and quite common in firefighters. He has been on a very busy schedule of chemo and dialysis. The cancer has affected his kidney function. He is doing great and in great spirits and working! We love him and ask our friends and family to pray for his health. When you see him he is definitely not the face of someone with cancer, you would never know when looking at his face.
We hope the fall and 2010 bring us some good luck and new, more exciting changes. For now, we are enjoying what life with a 4 year old throws us and enjoy each day to its fullest!
