Renal Scan results

I spoke to the pediatric urologist today on the phone and got the results from the renal scan. Her right kidney is taking on 75% and her left 25%. The dr said the left is a little lower then she expected. If it was 10% or less, they don't even bother operating. But at 25% she still wants to do surgery. She will do the surgery to fix the reflux, detaching the ureter, shortening it, and re-attaching it where it belongs. She also said usually when the ureter is in the wrong place like this there is usually other things wrong with the kidney. Surgery will be in either late August or sometime in September.
