Jason and I loved playing Santa this year! We expected to be woken up pretty early Christmas morning, especially with all the excitement in the air on Christmas Eve. Trinity woke up at about 3 am to use the restroom, but luckily she asked nothing of Santa or gifts and went right back to bed! She woke again at 7:30 AM!! We were blessed! We all got up and got the coffee made, camera out and started the festivities! We did our stockings first. Next, Trinity opened her gift from Santa. She said "it is just what I wanted"!! Now, isn't that what every mom and dad want to hear! Trinity had been saving a picture of a similar set from the Thanksgiving ads. She never really said anything, and we went about getting her Leapster2 from Santa. About 2 weeks before Christmas she became very specific that she wanted what was in the picture and we e-mailed Santa. We decided we could not let her down and burst her bubble, so off to Toys R Us I went the week before to play Santa!
The afternoon of Christmas we headed to my mom and dad's house for brunch and presents. Trinity got some pets from Grandma Cooper!! She is now the proud owner of two frogs! They were first named Kermit and Piggy, but are now Spotty and Stripey!! We feed them twice a week and they sit on her bookshelf in her bedroom. What fun!
